Data Deletion Instructions

Overview

This page explains how you can ask Curefy to delete your personal data, including any data we received from Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp (Meta). Curefy is operated by Yapita Health Pvt. Ltd., 715A, Spencer Plaza, 7th Floor, 768, 769 Anna Salai, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India - 600002.

You can request deletion at any time, free of charge. Choose any one of the options below.

Option 1: Remove Curefy from Your Facebook Account

If you signed in to Curefy with Facebook or connected your Facebook Page, Instagram account or WhatsApp Business account, you can remove Curefy directly from Facebook:

• Log in to Facebook and open Settings and privacy, then Settings.
• Go to Apps and websites (under Security or Your activity, depending on your version of Facebook).
• Find Curefy in the list of active apps.
• Select Remove, then confirm by selecting Remove again.

Option 2: Disconnect Your Business Accounts in Meta Business Settings

If you are a business that connected a Facebook Page or Instagram to Curefy:

• Go to Meta Business Suite and open Settings (Business settings).
• Select Integrations, then Business integrations (or Connected apps).
• Find Curefy and select Remove.

This stops Curefy from accessing your accounts immediately.

Option 3: Send Us an Email

Email support@curefy.app with the subject "Data Deletion Request" and include:

• Your full name.
• The email address, phone number or Facebook or Instagram profile linked to your data.
• If you are a patient, the name of the clinic, hospital, lab or pharmacy you were in contact with.

We may ask you to confirm your identity before deleting data, to protect your account from false requests.

What We Delete

When we process your request, we permanently delete:

• Your account and profile details.
• Data received from Meta, including your name, profile or account IDs, page and access tokens.
• Messages, contacts, documents and appointment details stored in Curefy for your account.
• Usage and device data linked to you.

How Long It Takes

• Access to your Meta accounts stops immediately after you remove or disconnect Curefy.
• We confirm your request within 5 working days.
• We complete deletion within 30 days of receiving your request.
• Copies in secure backups are removed within a further 30 days and are not used in the meantime.

What We May Need to Keep

We may keep a limited amount of information where the law requires it, such as invoices and payment records for tax purposes, or where needed to resolve a dispute or prevent fraud. This information is kept securely, used only for that purpose, and deleted when it is no longer required. Messages you sent to other people through Messenger or Instagram may also still be stored by Meta and by the recipients; to delete them from Meta, use your settings in those apps.
